St Cuthbert's Way Walking Holiday

St Cuthbert's Way is a 63 mile walk tthrough the stunning Scottish Borders and Northumbrian countryside.

The walk starts in the shadows of the fabulous Melrose Abbey and finishes on Holy Island, climbing the Eildon Hills, walking by the river Tweed and visiting historic villages such as Kirk Yetholm along the way.

Whether you are walking in the footsteps of St Cuthbert for religious, contemplative, fitness or recreational reasons, you will enjoy peace, fantastic views and gain an appreciation of this fabulous land, it's turbulent history and the friendliness of the people.

Many walking holiday packages for this trail exist, in fact we provide accommodation for many of the walking companies, but we can also offer something a little different.

If you would prefer:-

  • to stay in one location and not have to pack and unpack every day,
  • to stay in accommodation where you know the food is freshly prepared,
  • where you will be welcome to relax in the gardens at the end of a days walking,
  • be dropped off and picked up at the start and end of your walk each day (the journey taking you through towns and villages to enable you to see and make the most of your time in the Borders and Northumberland),
  • to have the opportunity to extend your holiday with visits to Alnwick or the Farne Islands, or to fish, play golf or birdwatch, all can be arranged.

                                     ..........................why not try us?

What's included in the price?

  • information pack containing guide book, map, and local information
  • bed and breakfast accommodation in double and twin rooms in a recently renovated and refurbished Georgian farmhouse (single supplements may apply)
