How to find us
Kirk Yetholm, with its twin village Town Yetholm, can be found in the Bowmont Valley, snuggling at the base of the Cheviot Hills, approximately a mile from the English Border in Northumberland.
Just 7 miles from Kelso, we have the advantages of a rural location, and also benefit from our proximity to what has been described "as the prettiest town in the Borders".
The Pennine Way finishes at our village Green and St Cuthbert's Way passes our front door.
Further afield we are almost equi-distant from Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle, no more than an hour and a half from any of them.
Travelling from London, a car journey takes between 6 and 7 hours, coaches and trains (just 4 hours) can be taken to Berwick-upon-Tweed. The closest airports are Edinburgh and Newcastle.
If travelling by public transport to Newcastle, Edinburgh or Berwick, we will be happy to collect you for a small charge.
